To make things easier, Banesto has introduced, along with this project, the
option of downloading the
Virtual POS from this Web. Just fill in a simple form and you will get the
SW. As with the Cibertienda SW, you will initially only receive the Linux
platform, but shortly afterwards you will receive the others, too. You will also
receive an e-mail with a user name and password to access the Gestión TPV
application, which is supplier-based (i.e. the owner of the machine where the
POS is housed). This will allow you to:
-
Register the trial POS 'online', which will enable you to send transactions to a
real test environment.
-
Access a complete FAQ.
-
Download the latest updates available on the POS software.
-
Request 'online' the registration of businesses in the production environment.
The integration of the POS into the virtual store requires a minimum amount of
development and relies on the telephone support system of the technical
installation service in order to make it work. In any case Banesto can provide
you with a list of suppliers who have already made the POS work, in different
store solutions (Microsoft, Tienda Virtuales, Hipertienda, ..).
Once these tests have been completed and integrated, there are still a couple of
necessary requirements in order to apply for the registration of the business
in production:
-
Having a savings or current account in any Banesto branch.
-
Contracting E-Commerce with Banesto. The norms regarding mail-order sales are
also applicable to E-Commerce.
Within 24 hours of requesting the operational go-ahead from the Gestión
TPV application, the supplier will receive a certificate allowing him
to send transactions to the production environment, while the trader will
receive another e-mail with user number and password, which will give him access
to the Extractos service.
